Then and Now - A One Woman Show by Tinia - Ridge Art Association
July 09, 2008 at 12:45 PM to August 08, 2008 at 4:00 PM
The show will represent the last 18 years of her work with many of her strongest pieces on loan for this special exhibit – including the first piece she ever exhibited at Ridge Art.
Tinia’s artwork runs the gamut from Abstract Expressionist pieces to cutting edge works in Found Objects. The artist has won awards with both types of work. Most recently she won “Best of Show” at Ridge Art Association’s annual “Found Objects Show” in April for her dynamic piece titled “The Dress.” “The Dress” and the two accompanying pieces in the exhibition were a response to her experience with breast cancer.
An opening reception for “Then and Now” will be held Saturday, July 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the gallery at Ridge Art Association.
