The Achievement Academy is excited to announce our 1st Annual Board of Directors’ Country Western Round-Up! This event promises to be an evening of finger lickin’ BBQ and boot scootin’ dancing while showing community support for the Achievement Academy. This event will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Higgenbotham Ranch located at 2200 Ewell Road in Lakeland. There are two sponsorship opportunities available. The Silver Horse Shoe for $1,000, which includes dinner for a table of ten. Become a Gold Sponsor for $2,500 and receive dinner for a table of ten and recognition through newspaper, event program, event banner and website. Individual tickets are also avaiblable for $100. Join us for an evening of fun that will include square dancing, line dancing, and prizes for best dressed cowboy and cowgirl. No dancing experience required. Square dance caller, Clyde Stocker and a group of experienced dancers promise a fun-filled evening. They will provide a demonstration and give instruction to those who want to particiapte. You won’t want to miss it! The Achievement Academy is a Charter School providing education and therapy services to children with developmental delays/disabilities in Polk County. The Achievement Academy assists children and their families through education, support, resources and advocacy at each of its three locations – Lakeland, Bartow and Winter Haven.
