Golf Classic Fundraiser, Tailgating, & Game - Webber International University

The Webber International University Inaugural Kick-Off Golf Classic is scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the beautiful Lake Wales Country Club Course. This is a fundraising event in support of the Warriors football program. The shotgun start is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.

The format is a four-person scramble and open to men and women. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. The event will include a closest to the pin and longest drive contest. The entry fee is $60.00 per player ($240 per team). All golfers will receive goody bags.

Golf will end at 12:30 p.m.; Tailgating: 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.; Game: 2:30- 4:00 p.m.

Immediately following play, golfers will be treated to a tail gate party, across from Legion Field, which includes ice cold beverages and all you can eat Bar-B-Q.

At 2:30p.m., the Warriors will play their Annual Fall Green & Gold Game at Legion Field and the Warriors Marching Band will be making their debut in their new uniforms.

For those that can’t play but would like to sponsor a hole, you can purchase a hole sign for $100.00.
