5th Annual 5K Run/Walk & Half Mile Fun Run for Kids - Achievement Academy

The Junior Service League of Bartow is hosting its 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk & Half-Mile Fun Run for Kids on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Summerlin Park at Wilson Lake in Bartow to benefit the Achievement Academy. Registration begins at 6:45 a.m. The 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:00 a.m. with the Fun Run beginning at 9:00 a.m. Registration for all participants includes a t-shirt, goody bag, post-race refreshments and door prize tickets. Entry fee is $20 before February 6th and $25 after February 6th. Register online or download forms from www.jslbartow.com. The Achievement Academy is a Pre-Kindergarten Charter School providing education and therapy services to children with developmental delays/disabilities in Polk County. The Achievement Academy assists children and their families through education, support, resources and advocacy at each of its three locations – Lakeland, Bartow and Winter Haven.
