Volunteer at the Chamber
The work of the Chamber of Commerce is accomplished to a large degree through the involvement of our members. Volunteer to chair a committee, welcome or recruit
new members, plan a golf tournament, share expertise, serve barbecue ... the opportunities are endless as you help bring people and businesses together. This type of
interaction strengthens the fabric of the community's commerce and helps businesses grow and prosper (you make new business contacts at the same time).
Areas of Chamber service include:
- Ambassadors (ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, door hosts, etc.)
- Chain of Lakes Festival
- Cardboard Boat Races
- Breakfast Forum
- Sunset Celebration
- Economic Development (delegates to East Polk Committee of 100 or Central Florida Development Council
- Education Committee
- Golf Tournament
- Government Affairs
- Membership Development
- Tourism
- ...and More
